BeeBase is a free service and is the Animal and Plant Health Agency’s (APHA) National Bee Unit website.
It’s designed for beekeepers and offers advisory leaflets, training manuals, fact sheets, information on basic beekeeping, health bee plans, as well as Beekeeping FAQs.
The website also has useful links and who to contact should you need support from the NBU.
Being a member of Beebase is important as it helps the NBU support beekeepers across the country and helps us to effectively monitor and control the spread of serious honeybee pests and diseases, by helping to maintain and sustain honeybees for the future.
